MARR, SHIRLEY EVELYN - The death of Shirley Evelyn Marr, age 64, of West Tennant's Cove, NB, formerly of Evandale, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saturday, May 24, 2003 Shirley was the daughter of the late Eldon and Ruth (Shea) Marr of Millville, NB. Shirley was a beloved member of a family of twelve. She is survived by sisters; Audrey & Lawrence Hoyt, Betty Fox, Joyce Bradley and Pauline Fawcett, all of Millville, and Eleanor & Alfred Carpenter, West Tennant's Cove, brothers; Ray & Ethel Marr, Evandale, Clayton & Vi Marr, Wickham, Carl & Lillian Marr, Wickham, and Paul & Anne Marr, Hampstead. Shirley is dearly loved by many nieces and nephews and was an integral part of their lives. She was predeceased by an older brother, Wendell and an older sister, Noreen Dunlop. Shirley was known for her love of God, her family and her many pets. Her courage, strength and laughter, in spite of many hardships, will be her greatest legacy. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, Norton, (839-2156) with visiting Monday, 2 - 8 pm. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Funeral Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2003, followed by interment in Tennant's Cove Cemetery.
