Dominic Joseph Aucoin

Sept. 10, 1917-Aug. 7, 2008 Dominic Joseph Aucoin passed away peacefully at Taigh Na Mara after a gallant struggle. Dominic was a veteran of the three branches of the Armed Services during the Second World War and a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion and Knights of Columbus in Sydney. Dominic was a good man who will be dearly missed by his wife, Diane; daughter, Ann; step-children, Cindy, Laurie, Christopher and Joseph; and eight grandchildren; as well as many friends. A memorial mass will be held in his honour Monday, Aug. 11, 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church with Fr. O’Connor officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Veterans Comfort Fund would be greatly appreciated. May he rest in peace.
