48, Sydney Mines It is with deep sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Wanda Mae Lomond on Friday, August 8, at the QEII Hospital, Halifax, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Sydney Mines, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Bab’s (Butts) Donovan. She was a member of St. Stephens Church, Florence. Wanda is survived by her loving companion, Stephen Robertson (Sammy); five daughters, Kelly (Wayne) North Sydney, Norma Jean (Jason) Bras d’Or, Rochelle (John) Ontario, Paulette and Samantha at home; four sons, Shawn (Pauline) Glace Bay, Joey (Niki), Ontario, Steven and Robert at home; three sisters, Valerie (Norman) Bras d’Or, Paulette (Jake) Sydney Mines, Jenny Ann (Donnie), St. Peters; two brothers, Walter (Kelly) Ontario, Jakie Bras d’Or; fifteen grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Wanda was a wonderful Mother and friend to all. She will be deeply missed. Visitation for Wanda Mae Lomond will be held in the J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main Street, Sydney Mines, today (Monday, August 11, 2008) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass to celebrate Wanda’s life will take place on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, Florence, with Fr.
