We regret to announce the sudden passing of Paulette (50) on Friday, August 8th in Ottawa. Born in Sydney, Paulette was the daughter of Ernie Pass and the late Anne (O’Connell) Pass. Paulette grew up in Sydney, attending Holy Angels High School and St. Francis Xavier University. She then moved to Ottawa where she worked for a number of years at the Bank of Montreal. Paulette always expressed great love for her family and friends and will be dearly missed by her children, Rebecca and Andrew; grandchild, Christian; father, Ernie; sisters, Linda (Matthew Leblanc) and Helen (Ross Kennedy); brothers, Ernie, Stephen, and John; as well as her seven nieces and nephews and many friends. A funeral service will be held for Paulette in Ottawa followed by a memorial service on Friday, Aug. 15 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Sydney River.
