JANSSEN, ANTONIUS (TONY) JOHANNES - Died peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital June 9, 2003, surrounded by his family. Born in Holland in 1921, Tony immigrated to Canada in 1953 and was a member of the pipe fitters union local 213 since 1958. Tony was an accomplished bowler with St. Anne's League for many years. He also loved to play cards, enjoyed fishing and could often be seen at Tim Horton's enjoying the company of his many friends. Tony is survived by his wife of 54 years Wilhelmina (Van Boksel) and one son Tony (Cathy MacKellar), daughters Yvonne, Sylvia (Gary Bard) and two grandchildren Joe Cronk and Heather Cronk. Also survived by brother Johannes Janssen and sisters Jov (Harry) Helvoort, Toos (Marius) Heesels and Liesv Laarhoven; several nieces and nephews. Visitation hours at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Wednesday June 11, 2003 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation to follow and private service at a later date.
