HETHERINGTON, JOAN - Mrs. Joan Hetherington of Sussex, passed away on June 14, 2003 at the age of 82. Born in London England, Joan was the daughter of the late Stanton and Elizabeth Lampard. Joan is survived by her husband Horace, her children; Betty Vautour and her husband Frank of Edmonton Alberta, her son Gary and his wife Faye of Riverview, NB, Sheila Hetherington of Vancouver, Marilyn Settle and her husband Wade of Sackville, NB, her brother Stan of England, her 4 grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, ?as well as several nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by 2 brothers Ron and Jack and her sister Alice. She was a member of the Army Territorial Service in the British Army during WWII. She was a member of Sussex United Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMS, Fidelity Class and sang in their choir for over 45 years. She was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Aux. and the Wars Brides Assoc. Arrangements in care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Monday 2-4, 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service is from Sussex United Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 2:00 pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Sussex Branch #20 will hold a tribute on Monday evening at 6:45 pm.
