HEBERT, MR. AURELE JOSEPH - The death of Mr. Aurele Joseph Hebert, loving husband of Laura (Poirier )Hebert, of Renforth, occurred on Sunday June 22, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 13, 1934 in Acadieville, NB , he was the son of the late Joseph and Arthemise ((LeBlanc) Hebert. Aurele was a carpenter by trade, retiring from Saint John Shipbuilding. He enjoyed fishing, camping and woodworking, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also a member of the Assumption Center 30 Up Club. He is survived by his loving wife Laura, three sons Leo Herbert (friend) Karen Godin) of Renforth, Yvon (Jacqueline) Hebert of West Saint John and John (Michelle) Hebert of Wells; two daughters Claudette (Jim) Maxwell of West Saint John and Rose (Dave) Stewart of Saint John; one brother Edgar Hebert of St. Ignace; five sisters Elva Richard, Rita Richard and Therese Daigle all of St. Louis de Kent, Lucie Richard of Moncton and Edith Robichaud of Massachusetts, US. Pere also is survived by eleven grandchildren Nicole, Brian, Erika, Ryan, Stephen, Michael, Cameron, Evan, Julie, Caitlin and Sophie; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Elvery Hebert. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday June 24, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Ann's Church on Wednesday June 25, 2003 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
