Father of Donald Downey of New Hampshire; Dennis Downey of Maine; Gary Downey of Maine; and Janice Williams of New Hampshire. Grandfather of Michael and Trevor Downey, and Kurt and Jessie Williams. Great grandfather of Nick Downey. Brother of Don Patterson of Saint John, New Brunswick; and Jean Allin of New Hampshire. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, and his best friend "Nitka". A funeral service will be held at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Woburn, Massachusetts on Thursday, July 3 at 11:00am. There are no visiting hours.
