McCARTHY, ADELIA FRANCIS - Of 8029 Route 2, Grand Falls, NB, passed away peacefully at home on July 6th, 2003 at the age of 88 years. She was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Catherine Dixon. She was predeceased by her husband Myles F. McCarthy, her three sons Angus, Allison, Wayne McCarthy and her infant daughter Mary. She is survived by five daughters: Ethel (Merton) Morrell, Mildred (Clinton) Demmings, Marolyn (Wayne) Clews, Carolyn McCarthy and Patricia (Richard) Sorensen and five sons; Francis (Kathleen) McCarthy, Alonzo (Jeannelle) McCarthy. Robert McCarthy, Terrance McCarthy, Roland (Carol) McCarthy and daughter-in-law Lisa McCarthy. She is survived by twenty-seven grand children and thirty-one great-grand children, two sisters; Mrs. Annie Goodine and Mrs. Freda Langley, and one brother: Lloyd (Ruby) Dixon and sister-in-laws Phyllis Dixon, Gertrude Dixon, Mary Roach, Juanita McCarthy, Ida McCarthy and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at her home, Tuesday July 8th from 2p.m. to 4p.m. and 7p.m. to 9p.m. and Wednesday July 9th from 2p.m. to 4p.m. Funeral services will be held at the St. Patrick's Church. T.C.H. on Wednesday July 9th at 4p.m. officiated by Father Pierre Thibodeau. Interment will take place at the St. Patrick's Cemetery.
