DeMERCHANT, BORDEN - The death of Borden DeMerchant of Tobique Narrows, occurred on July 11, 2003 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital at the age of 84. Born in Bairdsville, son of the late Frank and Sadie (Davey) DeMerchant. He is survived by his wife Phyllis (Taylor) DeMerchant; two sons Ellsworth DeMerchant of Perth-Andover and Gary (Carol) DeMerchant of Tobique Narrows; two daughters Carol (Eugene) Johnston of Easton, Me. and Rita (Donald) Rattray of Fredericton; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Sadie DeMerchant. Resting at White's Funeral Home with visiting hours on Sunday July 13, 2003 from 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Monday July 14, 2003 at 1 PM from White's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Southern Victoria Cancer Fund or Donor's Choice would be appreciated by the family.
