JONES, HARRIETT A. - Harriett Alberta Jones, 98, of Royal Court Riverview and formerly Petitcodiac , passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday July 19, 2003. Born at Passekeag, Kings Co. she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Susan (Upham) Titus. Harriett was a graduate of the Nursing Program at the Chipman Memorial Hospital, St. Stephen and was a member of the Petitcodiac United Baptist Church. For many years she enjoyed gardening and was an avid bridge player. She will be sadly missed by her sons Peter S. (Dorothy) of Woodstock, Rev. Robert A. (Johanne) of Oromocto, David (Susanne) of Amherst, grandchildren Scott Jones (Sylvia), Leanne Hughes (David), Scott Schonewille, Jodi Brander (Stephen), Monica Schonewille-Jones, Susan Sears (Ralph), Elizabeth Jones, Ian Jones, Terry Jones (Nora Lynn), Kelli Lundbohm (Gerald). Surviving also are 12 great grandchildren, a sister Helen Cosman (Colburn) of Saint John, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Arthur A. (1978), sisters Mable Shepard, Dorothy Dibblee, Martha Bowes, Lena Harmer, brothers Harold, Aubrey and Gilbert Titus. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home , 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) on Tuesday July 22 from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Jones officiating. Interment will be at the Petitcodiac Baptist Cemetery. If so desired memorials to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. www.keirsteads.ca
