WEYMAN MAURICE KIRKPATRICK

KIRKPATRICK, WEYMAN MAURICE - The death of Weyman Maurice Kirkpatrick occurred peacefully at his home on July 23, 2003 at the age of 87. Born in Wirral, N.B. on December 20, 1915, he was the son of the late Abner and Mary (Eastwood) Kirkpatrick. A life-long devoted farmer, Weyman enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with his family and always giving of himself to others. Over the years he worked for the NB Department of Transportation, was a hunting guide and worked within the woods. Weyman was a member and Honorary Trustee of the Wirral United Baptist Church, a member of the Wirral Community Organization, Wirral Agricultural Society and Hoyt Volunteer Fire Department. Weyman will be greatly missed by his loving wife (of 60 years) Gertrude, his children, Margo (Roger) Montreuil, Gail (Larry) Willis and Robert (Estelle) Kirkpatrick all of Wirral, Marion (Curtis) Swim and Dorothy (Kenneth) Charlton of Woodstock, Ontario, his two sisters, Pearl McLaughlin and Beulah Duplisea both of Central Blissville and many loving and caring nieces, nephews and cousins. He loved with all his heart his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Roderick, Tanya, Jeanette, Tammy, Scott M., Jennifer, Kari, Scott W., Errin, Eric, Jeremiah, Hanna, Christopher, Cameron, Ashley, Jessie, Jordan, Katelyn, Jesse, Austin, Mike, and Bradley. He is predeceased by his brother Parker (Bud), one sister Evelyn (Ronald) Hoyt, and an infant brother Weyman. The family invites relatives and friends for visitation at Sunbury Funeral Home in Central Blissville on Thursday, July 24, 2003, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and at the Wirral United Baptist Church on Friday 12 noon to 2 P.M. The funeral service will be held at the Wirral United Baptist Church on Friday, July 25, 2003 at 3 p.m. Interment to follow in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Weymen, the family have suggested the Canadian Red Cross Equipment Rental Program or the Wirral United Baptist Church mission or maintenance fund - memorial cards available at the Funeral Home. A special thank you to all the care givers for their dedication, caring and support given to Weyman.
