NOEL, J.J. WALTER - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on July 23, 2003, J.J. Walter Noël of Saint John West, husband of Lydia Noël. Born in Shippigan, N.B., he was the son of the late Jerome and Caroline (Ward) Noël. Mr. Noël was employed with T.S. Simms Co. Ltd. for 47 years retiring in 1990. Surviving in addition to his wife Lydia are four sons, Walter and his wife Brenda of French Village, Peter and his wife Marie-Marthe of Shippigan, Phillip and his wife Colleen of Saint John, Jerome and his wife Pam of Saint John, four daughters Ann-Marie Northrup and her husband Harvey of Westfield, Elizabeth Noël of Saint John, Caroline Munn and her husband Randy of Fredericton, Regina Noël of Saint John, sister in-law Lucretia Noël of Saint John, one sister Nancy Shaffer and her husband Alvin of Ontario, twenty five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one son Albert Noël, one brother Cecil Noël, and granddaughter Spencer Lydia Noël. Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue (634-1701). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Saturday July 26, 2003 at 10 am. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visiting at "Fallsview" on Thursday, July 24, 2003 from 7-9 PM and on Friday, July 25, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
