DELANEY, DONALD C. - At his residence on July 24, 2003 Donald Charles Delaney of Saint John West, husband of the late Barbara (McManus) Delaney. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late John and Mabel (Simpson) Delaney. Mr. Delaney was employed with Loyalist Painter's retiring in 1993. He was a member of Local #1151 Painter's Union and he was an avid hunter. He is survived by three sons; Stephen and his wife Judy of Quispamsis, Phillip and Chris both of Saint John, three daughters; Cindy Delaney and her husband Dave Jank of Edmonton Alberta, Sharon Craig and her husband Steven of Westfield, Pam Laskey and her husband Keith of Westfield, one brother; Ted Delaney of Saint John, one sister; Betty Dunham of Saint John, 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Barbara and three brothers; Leonard, Harry and Ron. Resting at the Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday July 28, 2003 at 10am from St. Rose of Lima Church Milford Rd. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visiting at "Fallsview" on Saturday July 26, 2003 from 7-9pm and on Sunday July 27, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
