ROY (BLAIR), BEATRICE A. - The death of Beatrice A. (Blair) Roy, wife of the late Alexander Roy, occurred after a lengthy illness at Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews on Wednesday, July 23, 2003. Born in Montreal, QC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Arthur and Florence Eugene (Judge) Blair. Mrs. Roy was a member of the Nashwaaksis United Church, Monsignor Boyd Senior Shuffleboard Club, and UCW. Beatrice is survived by four children, Donald (Pat) of Rossburn, MB, Ross (Bev) of Brighton, ON, John (Cheryl) of Edmonton, AB, and Beatrice Magill (Robert) of St. George, NB; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton North on Friday from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 am from Nashwaaksis United Church with Rev. Franklin Curtis officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal, QC. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
