LOUIS CHARLES DENNING
DENNING, LOUIS CHARLES - Louis Denning of 104 Cedar St. Upper Woodstock, N.B. passed away Saturday August 2, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, N.B., at the age of 86. Born in Maxwell, N.B. December 3, 1916, he was the son of the late George and Margaret (MacGillicuddy) Denning. Louis is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Lindsay) Denning, daughters Marie (Lawrence) Wiggins of Houlton, Me., Gertrude (Clifford) Kitchen of Sussex, N.B., Nancy Jenkins of Saint John, Dorothy Yackulic of Saskatoon, Mary Jean (Rick) Stewart of Alberta, sons John (Margaret) of Fredericton, George Denning of Woodstock, N.B., 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings, Theodore (Ted), Genieva Hogan, John (Jack), Paul, Cornelia (Connie) Kennedy, and Gerald. Louis was the last remaining member of the Denning Family; he was a life-long blood donor, actively involved in Meals on Wheels and Knights of Columbus. Louis also collected for many different, worthy causes. Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Rd., Jacksonville, N.B. where friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday August 4, 2003. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday August 5, 2003 from the St. Gertrude's Catholic Church in Woodstock, N.B. at 1:00 p.m. with Father Samuel Diotte officiating. Interment will take place in the Calvary Cemetery. In memory of Louis, the family would appreciate donations to the Parkinson's Foundation or a charity of your choice.
