MURRAY C. VAUGHAN

VAUGHAN, MURRAY C. - Unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, August, 7th, 2003; Murray Chase Vaughan, husband of Dorothy (Loughery) Vaughan of Quispamsis, NB. Born in Saint John, NB, he is the son of the late Warren W. Vaughan and Edythe (Chase) Wyman. Murray was employed with the Saint John Dry Dock for many years as a foreman in the Electronic Dept. and later operated Vaughan Electronics. Murray was a member of Quispamsis United Church. Murray was an amateur HAM radio operator (VE1XE) and also obtained several certificates in radio operations, electronics and x-ray technology. Surviving in addition to his wife Dorothy are his sons Paul (Lorie) of Quispamsis, Richard of Toronto, three grandchildren, Tricia, Ryan, and Michelle, half brother Hubert (Bud) Wyman (Ronalda) of Rhode Island, half sister Connie Orr (David) of British Columbia. Murray was predeceased by his step mother Georgie Vaughan. Resting at Castle "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Old Hampton Road, Rothesay, NB (506-849-1702) from where the visitation will be held on Saturday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Family and friends are welcomed to attend a graveside interment service to be held at the St. Martins Community Cemetery on Sunday, August 10th, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Quispamsis United Church Memorial Fund or to the charity of the donors' choice.
