MATTHEWS, JESSIE ALBERTA - 1914-2003 Do not stand by my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep I am the thousand winds that blow I am a diamond glint on snow I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain When you awake in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circling flight I am the soft starshine at night Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die. It is with sadness, that the family of Jessie Alberta Matthews (Lynch), announces that she passed away peacefully on August 15, 2003 in Dawson Creek, BC. Jessie was born October 21, 1914 in Saint John, New Brunswick. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Lynn (Garry) Wong, Jeannie Matthews, and grandchildren, Tim and Dana Wong. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Bergeron Funeral Services and Crematorium Ltd., Dawson Creek, British Columbia.
