THOMAS, MRS. BLAKE LANE - Peacefully at the Grand Manan Nursing Home, Wednesday, August 20th, 2003, Mrs. Blake Lane Thomas passed away with her family at her side; she was 90. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis and May (Cronk) Guptill. She is survived by her two daughters Mrs. Norma Reeves (Wyville) of Fredericton N.B., and Mrs. Dorothy Parker (Philip) of North Head, N.B., nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Mr. Marvin Thomas in 1960 and was later predeceased by her second husband Mr. James Thomas in 1991, one daughter Eunice, also one great grandson Alex Parker, and two sisters Virginia Guptill and June Thomas. Visiting will take place from the North Head United Baptist Church Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, with the Funeral Service following on Saturday, August 23rd, 2003 at 2 PM. Interment to follow in the family plot at Maple Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grand Manan Nursing Home or to the charity of donors choice.
