MONAHAN, HENRY EUGENE - After a lengthy illness at home the death of Henry E. Monahan, age 70, of Sussex and formerly of Southfield occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, Friday, August 22, 2003. Henry was the son of the late Robert and Mary (Durham) Monahan. Henry is survived by his companion Mary Wheaton, daughter; Terra Wheaton and son; Matthew Wheaton, Sussex, brother; Robert Monahan of Saint John, three sisters-in-law; Doris Monahan, Angela Monahan, Clara Monahan, several nieces and nephews and cousins, and special friend; Grace Wheaton. Henry was predeceased by brothers; Arthur, George, Leroy, Elmer, and Howard. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, 18 Scovil Road, Norton, (839-2156), with visiting on Sunday, August 24, from 2 to 8 pm. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norton, for Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, August 25, 2003 at 1:00 pm., followed by interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Norton, NB.
