ARMSTRONG, ALLAN BURRELL - Unexpectedly at his residence, in Pennfield Ridge, NB on August 26, 2003, Mr. Allan Burrell Armstrong, husband of Donna M. (Gaudet) Armstrong. Born in Pennfield, NB on October 2, 1933, he was a son of the late Ranald E. and Jesse O. (Nutter) Armstrong. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he is survived, besides his wife, by one son, Ranald (Kimberley) Armstrong; three grandchildren, Crystal, Cody and Carlie; two sisters, Muriel Bennett and Shirley Whittier, both of Pennfield, NB; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was pre-deceased by one daughter, Lorene Olive Armstrong; two brothers, Basil and Darrell; two sisters, Kathleen and Betty. Allan had been employed with Lake Utopia Paper for over 30 years prior to his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting. He also loved curling and was a former member of the St. George Curling Club and also the Eastern Charlotte Lions Club. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George (755-3533) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held on Thursday at 2 pm from Christ Church (Anglican) in Pennfield followed by interment at the church cemetery.
