BLACKIE, J. GORDON - At River View Manor Bath on September 2, 2003, J. Gordon Blackie of Florenceville passed away at the age of 87. Born in Upper Brighton, the son of the late Daniel and Agnes (Pearson) Blackie. Gordon is survived by Daughter, Anne (Mark Steeves) of Belleville, On, Son, James (Cecile) of Florenceville, eight Grandchildren, Brother Anthony Blackie of Coquitlam, BC, Son In Law, Denis Wrong of Pickering, ON, Nephew, Dr. Stephen Blackie. Predeceased by his Parents, Wife, Lesley (Horne) Blackie, Daughter Margaret Wrong, Grandson, Jeffrey Steeves, Brother Donald Blackie. Remains resting at Kilcollins Chapel Florenceville, visiting Friday September 5, 2003, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11 AM from Faith Memorial United Church Florenceville, Rev. Les Johnston Officiating. Interment will be in the Florenceville United Church Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Faith Memorial United Church Building Fund or to the memorial of the donor's choice.
