SOMMERVILLE, ERNEST G. - The death of Ernest G. Sommerville of Barnesville, husband of Ethel (Rodgers) Sommerville, occurred September 4, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born April 14, 1918 at Barnesville, he was a son of the late George and Ella (Magowan) Sommerville. He was a lifelong resident of Barnesville where he was engaged in farming before employment for twenty three years with N.B. Department of Transportation on bridge construction. Surviving besides his wife are one son Robert of Barnesville; one brother Ronald of Barnesville; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son Keith and one sister Beatrice Howes. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Saturday, 2:00pm, at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mary Wanamaker officiating. Interment in Barnesville Presbyterian Cemetery.
