THERIAULT, CORA MAE - Peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB on September 7th, 2003, following a brief illness, Mrs. Cora Mae (Stanton) Theriault, wife of Herbert Theriault of Utopia, NB. Born in East Ferry, Digby Co. NS, on August 20, 1909, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Lizzie (Height) Stanton. A loving wife, aunt and special aunt, she is survived by her husband of 75 years, Herbert; two nieces, Elizabeth Kingston (wife of the late Charles Kingston) of Pennfield, Hazel (Mrs. Harold Gillespie) of Utopia; special great-niece, Veronica (Mrs. Roger St. Onge) of St. George; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Cora was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Curtis and Burwell, two sisters Rita Hilma. Cora was employed in the Labelling Room at Connors Bros. Ltd. for over 20 years. In her early years, she loved knitting and crocheting, and enjoyed baking. She was a member of the Blacks Harbour Wesleyan Church. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held at The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel at the St. George Funeral Home on Tuesday at 4:30pm, followed by interment in the Pennfield Rural Cemetery.
