MORAN, MICHAEL - At the Grand Falls Manor, September 17, 2003, Mr. Michael Moran of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 96 years. He was the husband of the former Irene Powers. Born at Tilley in 1907, he was a son of the late Michael and Esther (McQuade) Moran. He was predeceased by a grandson, Dale Gagnon. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Harding (Jacqueline) of Montreal and Francis (Solange) of New Carlisle, Quebec, four daughters, Doreen Shannon (Frederick) of Grand Falls, Cleo Gagnon (Marcel) of Orangeville, Ontario, Nelda Levesque (Roch) of Grand Falls and Lillian Filippone (Joe) of Newport News, Virginia, 26 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, two step great great grandchildren, two sisters, Anna Thibodeau of Lebanon, New Hampshire and Celia Condon of Bangor, Maine, several nieces and nephews. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. His funeral will be held Saturday, September 20th at 11 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the Assumption cemetery.
