PLEDGE, JEAN - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 21st, 2003; Jean Catherine (Linton) Pledge of Clifton Royal, NB; wife of Sydney Pledge. Born in Saint John, NB she was the daughter of the late Thomas Albert and Jessie Linton. Jean served 31 years with the Federal Government in the Unemployment Insurance. She was an active member of her community. Surviving in addition to her husband Sydney are, her step daughter Lois Mersereau (Raymond) of Toronto, niece Lesley Linton of B.C., four step grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. Jean was predeceased by a brother Donald. Resting at Castle "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Old Hampton Road, Rothesay, NB (506-849-1702) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, September 24th, 2003 at 1:00 p.m.. The interment will follow in All Saints Anglican Church Cemetery, Clifton Royal, NB.
