HOWARD KITCHENER "JACK" ANNINGSON
ANNINGSON, HOWARD KITCHENER "JACK" - Age 85, of Windsor, NS, formerly of Hampton, NB, passed away at the Gladys Manning Retirement Complex, Windsor, on Wednesday, October 1, 2003. Born on February 4, 1918, in Campbellton, NB, he was a son of the late John and Alice (Montgomery) Anningson. He retired in 1974, after teaching 29 years in the Saint John area, with the Saint John School District. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas in the North Shore Regiment of the Canadian Army. He was an active member of the Smithtown Baptist Church, Smithtown, NB. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, the former Dorothy Adele Colette; daughter, Barbara (David) Coulter, Silverton, Manitoba; sons, Dr. Richard (Sandra) Anningson, Auburn, Indiana, USA; Rev. Howard (Carol) Anningson, Grand Manan; 15 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; son-in-law, Fred Cogswell, Victoria, BC; sisters, Vivian Maxwell, Acamac, NB; Constance Budd, Gananoque, ON; Marjorie Kinsman, Lakeville, NS; Irene (Blair) Perrin, Ketepec, NB; brother, Clifton (Beatrice) Anningson, Toronto, ON; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Alice Adele Cogswell; sisters, Laura Aubie, Catherine Sweet, Florence Gilmore and Anne Gibbons; brothers, Lester, Harold and Grant Anningson. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Saturday, October 4, 2003, at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with service at 1:00pm. Rev. Brett Anningson officiating, assisted by Rev. Howard Anningson. Interment in Titus Hill Cemetery, Titusville. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Visiting 2-4pm and 7-9pm Friday.
