GERALD KENNETH JOHNSTON
JOHNSTON, GERALD KENNETH - By accident, St. George, NB, on October 13, 2003, Mr. Gerald Kenneth Johnston, companion of Delores McLaughlin of St. George, NB. Born in Saint John, NB on June 6, 1967, he was a son of Diane (Appleby) Johnston and the late Gerald G. Johnston. A loving companion, father, son and brother, he is survived, besides his companion, by one son, David, at home; his mother, Diane Johnston (Gregory Moorehouse); sister, Annette Johnston (Tony Thorne); one brother, Justin Johnston, all of Canal, NB; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides his father, Gerald, he was also pre-deceased by a nephew, Adam Henry. Gerald was an avid golfer and dart player, and a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #40, St. George, and a former member of the Lion's Club of St. Andrews. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Gulf Operators and worked at the St. George Dam Project. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George (755-3533), with visiting on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held on Friday at 2 pm from the St. George Baptist Church.
