HELEN BISHOP
BISHOP, HELEN - Mrs. Helen E. Bishop of the Kiwanis Nursing Home and formerly of Kings Manor and St. George Street, Sussex. Passed away at Kiwanis Nursing Home on October 15, 2003 at the age of 81. Born in Chipman NB on October 1, 1918 Helen was the daughter of the late Wellington and Della (Bishop) Chase and the beloved wife of the late Charles M. Bishop who passed away in 1984. Helen is survived by two daughters: Phyllis Brown of Chipman, Glenna Perry (Donald) of Coles Island. And by two sons; Vernon Bishop (Ella) of Chipman, Raymond Bishop (Edith) of St. Andrews, two sisters; Carol Buchanan of Chipman, Anna Wannamaker of Hampton, 15 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her daughter Marion, her son Cecil, a granddaughter Bonnie-Lee, five brothers; Purdy, Kenneth, Reg, Vernon, Clayton, and by two sisters; Ruth, Kathleen. She was a former employee of Glendale Homes, a member of the Sussex United Baptist Church where she was a former member of the WI and WMS. She was a member of the Millstream Valley LOBA # 1389 Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Thursday 7-9 pm Friday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The Millstream Valley LOBA # 1389 will hold a tribute Friday Evening at 6:45pm. The Funeral Service will be from Sussex United Baptist Church on Saturday, October 18, 2003 at 11:00 am. The Graveside will be held from Chipman 2nd United Baptist Cemetery Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm.
