FOSTER, GAIL FRANCES - The death of Gail Frances Foster, wife of Douglas Bruce Foster, occurred on October 12, 2003, at her residence. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Donald and Mary Axtell Tompkins. She was employed as the Food Service Supervisor at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She is survived by her son Herbert and his wife Stephanie of Saint John, her brothers Donald Tompkins and his wife Elsie of Saint John, Charles Tompkins and his wife Stella of Saint John, Walter Tompkins and his wife Mona of Toronto, ON, her sisters Joanne Kyle and her husband Edward of Eastern Passage, NS, Elizabeth Naves of Saint John, Margaret Tompkins (Lloyd MacDonald) of Saint John, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2003, at 11:00 AM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
