LORD, MARGARET ROSE - Margaret Rose Lord of West Saint John, passed away, Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Sarah (Hargraves) Ritchie, and wife to the late Roy H. Lord. Margaret was a former member of Sisters of the Good Shepherd. She deeply loved and admired her grandchildren, and family was most important in her life, she remained the strong Mother to her children and family until the very end. Always busy with her hands, Margaret was very accomplished in knitting, crocheting, and sewing. She is survived by two sons, Henry (Collette) of Sudbury, Ont., and Howard (Judy) of Saint John, N.B.; two daughters, Margaret "Polly" (Harold) Clifford, of Saint John, N.B., and Ann (William) French, also of Saint John, N.B.; nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one niece and one nephew. Besides her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her brothers, Lewin and Fred and her sister Lillian Martin. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue (634-1701). Funeral service will be held Friday, October 17, 2003 at 1 PM from Fallsview Chapel.
