47, North Sydney It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Peter Ronald MacDonald, 47, father, brother, uncle and nephew, a resident of Gannon Road on Monday, Sept. 8, 2008. Born in North Sydney, he was a son of the late Harvey and Peg (Ivey) MacDonald. Peter was a member of the Labourer’s Union Local #92 and worked for many years out west. He enjoyed playing hockey, baseball, darts and the outdoors. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, North Sydney. Surviving are his children, James, Joanie and Kevin; his brother, Tom; sisters, Bubba (Ken), Ann (Ron), Thelma (John); nephews, Clayton, Dylan, John Joseph, Kyle and Matthew; nieces, Amber and Katie; several aunts and uncles; close friends, Belinda Nicholson, Sherry Morrison, Beanie Marsh and Debbie Bragg, also by his faithful companion, Lady who was by his side where ever he went. Besides his parents Peter was predeceased by a brother, Victor MacDonald. There will be no public visitation by request. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Church with Rev. Jim Attwood officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of W.J.
