LEONARD, ROLLAND ELMER - Of Woodstock passed away at Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock on Sunday, October 26, 2003, at the age of 84. Rolland is survived by three sons, Mayor Randy Leonard and his wife Eleanor of Woodstock, NB; Jack Leonard and his wife Margaret of Franktown, ON; Brian Leonard and his wife Gloria of Almonte, ON; one daughter, Lorna Everett and her husband Kenneth of Windsor, NS. He is also survived by two brothers Carl Leonard and Ralph Leonard; four sisters, Emma Bradley; Ruth Calder; Eola Bull and Dora Jellison, nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Rolland served in the Carleton York Regiment, (1939-1945). He was pre-deceased by his wife, Ruth Leonard; his parents, George and Annie Leonard; one granddaughter, Heather Leonard; two brothers, Norton Leonard and Lloyd Leonard; two sisters, Jean Boles and Mable Toal. Resting at The Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Wednesday, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 pm from The Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Fred Snyder will be officiating, with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
