78, Main-a-Dieu It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the sudden and tragic passing of Tom Campbell on Sept. 5, 2008 at home. Born in Scaterie, he was the son of the late Ben and Eliza Jane (Martell) Campbell. He was a fisherman. He enjoyed hunting, singing and playing the guitar and spending time with his family. He enjoyed tinkering and exploring, trying to fix anything that needed fixing. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was truly a family man and was always there for his wife and children. Tom is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth ‘Liz’, his children, John Hugh Campbell, Baleine, Eliza Campbell, Brooks, Alberta, Ron Campbell, Main-a-Dieu; his granddaughter, Angelina Campbell, Brooks, Alberta; his two precious great-grandsons, Thomas Francis Campbell and Logan Michael Campbell. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Art Nyenhuis, London, Ont.; niece, Georgina (Lionel) Wadden; nephew, Ron (Buddy) McDougall. Besides his parents, Tom was predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Nyenhuis and brother, George Campbell. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and are under the direction of Chant's Funeral Home.
