85, Mill Creek/Northside Guest Home It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful sister, aunt and godmother. Margaret Harrietha ‘Marg’ passed away Sept. 12, 2008, at the Northside General Hospital. Marg spent most of her life working at Moirs in Halifax and moved home when she retired. Marg was avid card and dart player and gave many hours to Point Aconi Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of St. Joseph’s parish, Bras d’Or. Marg was the daughter of the late Joe and Molly (Waugh) Harrietha. She will be sadly missed by her brother and sister-in-law, Mick and Nettie Harrietha; sisters-in-law, Vange Harrietha, Gonie Harrietha and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Dan, Jack and Andy (Rejean), sisters, Josie (Joe) O’Shea, Irene (Walter) Rideout, Patricia (Tommy) Carey and Velma (Danny) Bona. A special thank-you to the staff and volunteers at the Northside Guest Home for their years of care. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, Sept. 20 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, Bras d’Or with Fr. Peter McLeod officiating.
