SAMOLINSKI, RHETA PATRICIA (ESTEY)- Rheta Patricia (Estey) Samolinski, daughter of William and Margaret (McLeod) Estey, passed away on October 24, 2003 in Clemmons, North Carolina, USA. She was born in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, on October 22, 1914. She was the youngest of six children, Hazel, Gladys, Kathleen, Emily and Winston. She graduated from Grand Falls High School and grew up and lived in Grand Falls until she married George Samolinski in 1959. They traveled and lived in various locations, including Germany, Colorado and Massachusetts until settling in Clemmons, North Carolina in 1968. She was predeceased by her husband George, who passed away in 1999, as well as her brother and four sisters. She is survived by two nephews, Jon Fairweather of Fredericton NB, and Charles Samolinski of Clemmons, North Carolina, as well as five nieces, Carole Sue Michaud of Grand Falls, NB, Donna Stoughton of Valleyview, PQ, Beverley Peacock and Shelia Mulherin, both of Montreal PQ, and Bette Moore of Ottawa, ON. She also leaves behind a Goddaughter, Janice Moore of Ottawa, ON, as well as several cousins in Canada and USA. A memorial service was held in Clemmons, North Carolina on October 28, 2003, and interment will follow in Arlington National Cemetery.
