CHEDORE, WALTER J. - The death of Walter J. Chedore, formerly of Fredericton, occurred on Thursday, November 6th, 2003 at Kennebec Manor in Saint John, NB. Born in Gascons West, Quebec, on December 16th, 1917, he was the son of the late Arthur and Ada (Briard) Chedore and husband of the late Margaret E. (Derynck) Chedore. Survived by one son, W. S. Reid Chedore (Nancy) of Saint John, NB; two daughters, Linda Lane (Stephen) of Ottawa, ON and Janis McNeight (Robert) of Petawawa, ON; six grandchildren, Heather Dell (Colin), Stephanie Lane - Kaluski (Jeff) and Allison Lane, James (Margaret), Stephen and Emily Chedore; three great grandchildren, Samantha, Alexandra Dell and Madison Lane - Kaluski; one brother, Raymond Chedore of Montreal, PQ; one sister, Norma Garrett of Gascons West, PQ. Predeceased by his parents, his wife Margaret, one daughter Pamela and brother, Harold and one sister Elsie. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church Parish Church (Fredericton) on Saturday, November 8th, 2003 at 10:00 am. The Venerable John Sharpe will officiate. Interment will follow in the Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
