CALLAGHAN, JOHN E. - November 03, 2003, peacefully at his home in Toronto. Born in Saint John, N.B. in 1922. Graduated from UNB in Civil Engineering; was employed by the Ontario Department of Transportation as Director of Construction. For many years, John and his wife Jean enjoyed their lake cottage in Northern Ontario. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean; brother Vincent (Joan), Bathurst; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Eileen O'Brien. Funeral Mass was held at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church on November 5th. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
