BUNN, HERBERT STANLEY - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday December 6, 2003 Herbert Stanley Bunn husband of Jean (McKinnon) Bunn of Saint John West. Born in Saint John a son of the late Gordon and Alice (Barnett) Bunn. A veteran of the Second World War having served with the Royal Canadian Navy as a Leading Seaman from 1943-1945. He retired from CN Marine in 1988 having worked as an Engineer on the Princess of Acadia. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #2. Surviving in addition to his wife Jean is one son Ronald (Gloria) Bunn of Rothesay, one brother: Robert S. (Betty) Bunn of Jacksonville Florida, three sisters: Callie Drane of Norton, Ruth (Fred) Blacklock of Moncton, Phyllis (William) Akey of Brockville Ontario, two grandchildren: Valerie (Tom) Gray of Dartmouth and Robert Bunn of Toronto. Predeceased by four brothers: Gordon W. Bunn, Jene Bunn, Roy C. Bunn and John Barnett. Resting at CASTLE "Fallsview" Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701). Funeral Service will be held 1 pm on Tuesday from the "Fallsview" Chapel. Interment will be in Saint John. Visitation at Fallsview on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Tribute to a Veteran Service on Monday at 7 pm.
