SMITH, GLADYS ETHEL (WOOD) - The death of Gladys E. Smith (Wood) of French Lake, NB occurred on Tuesday, December 9th, 2003 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in French Lake NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Cogswell) Wood and wife of the late Raymond Smith. She is survived by one son, Roger of French Lake, NB and one daughter, Judith Murphy (Frank) of Kingston, ON; nine grandchildren, John, Pamela, Randy, Timmy, Clara, Roseanne, Ginger, Colleen and Sean; twelve great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren; one sister Edna Patterson of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, William and Gertrude; husband, Raymond; one daughter Glenna; two brothers, Basil and Bertram; five sisters, Roxie, Thelma, Eunice, Alice and Vivian. Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Thursday, December 11th, 2003 from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 12th, 2003 at 2:00 pm.
