Robert (Bob) Wright Detheridge Sr.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our father/grandfather, Bob Detheridge after a brief illness. Born in Bolton, Eng., 1913. Survived by sons, Charles, Daniel (Claire), with whom he resided over the past three years, Tom (Mary), George (Marge), all of Sydney; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Bob was predeceased by his wife, Sarah (Carroll), son, Bobby Jr. and daughter, Jean. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sydney Memorial Chapel. There will be no visitation at Bob’s request. Cremation to take place. Donations may be made to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Cancer Center or charity of choice in Bob’s memory.
