ALLABY, WARREN MCLEOD - On December 17, 2003, Warren M. Allaby, our father, passed peacefully into Heaven to meet his Saviour while enjoying fellowship with Carollers from the church he loved. Warren was a life long resident of Midland where he ran a general store, trucking and farming business for many years. He was a life long member of the Midland Baptist Church where he played an active role in his younger years. Warren also served as a school trustee for the local school district for many years. Warren is survived by son; Roland (Lynda), Saint John, daughter; Louise Snow (Wayne), Kingston, grandsons; Darren, Kelowna, BC, Dennis (Michelle), Halifax, NS and granddaughter; Pamela Bovaird (Tim), Fort MacMurray, AB, great-grandchildren; Tyler and Spencer Bovaird, stepson; Thomas Mulray, Montreal, PQ, brother-in-law; Ernie Fanjoy, sister-in-law; Arlene Allaby (Henderson) Woodstock, NB and Marge Allaby (Gray), Sussex, and numerous nephews and nieces. Born July 13, 1913 Warren was the last surviving member of his family. He was predeceased by his first wife Grace (Price), his second wife Minnie (Webster); brothers James, Laverne and Ardon; sisters Pauline, Oressa Anderson, Grace Richardson, Ethel Buchanan, Mildred Fanjoy and Millicent Jones. Resting at the Midland Baptist Church, 4 Upper Midland Road, Friday, 2 - 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held from the Midland Baptist Church, Saturday, December 20, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Midland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Midland Baptist Church, Sussex Crisis Pregnancy Centre, Children's Wish Foundation or Memorial of Donor's choice.
