JOHNSTON, JOSEPH D. - Dr. Joseph D. Johnston of Woodstock, New Brunswick on Thursday, December 18, 2003 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born November 23, 1947 in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, he was a son of Evelyn (MacKinnon) and the late Edmund Johnston. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife Catherine (McShane) Johnston. Two daughters Katie and Theresa Johnston, sisters Dr. Mary Johnston (Dr. Syd McKnight), Beth Johnston, Dr. Rose Johnston (Dr. Muriel Agnes), Helen Johnston (Peter Brown), brothers Dr. Mike (Karyn) Johnston, John (Anna) Johnston, Jim (Dianne) Johnston, Dr. Mark (Dr. Beth) Johnston, Dr. Dennis (Gretchen) Johnston, Dr. Paul (Dr. Janine) Johnston, Peter Johnston, also Aunts and Uncles, and nieces and nephews. Resting at His Home at 123 Grant Street, Woodstock, with visitation on Saturday, December 20, 2003, 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday December 21, 2003, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services to be held on Monday, December 22, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Gertrude's Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock, NB with Father Peter Bagley officiating. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Newburg at a later date. If desired, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the New Brunswick Wildlife Federation or the donor's choice.
