JOSEPH A. MICHAUD

MICHAUD, JOSEPH A. - The death of Joseph A. Michaud of Fredericton, NB, occurred on December 22nd, 2003. The husband of Margaret J. (White) Michaud. Born in Grand Falls, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marguerite (Powers) Michaud and had lived a greater part of his life in Saint John. He served overseas with the 162 Squadron R.C. A. F. during the Second World War, following the war, he began an accomplished career as a commercial photographer, earning many awards and distinctions and eventually operating his own successful studio on Waterloo Street, Saint John for many years. Throughout his life, Joe was an avid golfer, bowler, fisherman and was a baseball fan. He will be remembered by family and friends for his tireless wit and unequaled kindness. Besides his wife, he is survived by his nephew Patrick White of Hamilton, ON; one brother, Elie Michaud of Grand Falls, and several nieces and nephew. Joe was predeceased by his parents; two sisters, Alma Morin and Simone Michaud; two brothers, Omar and Alcide. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 23rd, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 24th, 2003 at 12:00 Noon. Monsignor Brian Sheehan as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes made to the Parkinson's Foundation would be appreciated by the family. www.mcadamsfh.com
