BLAIR, RUTH EVELYN - Of the Loch Lomond Villa died peacefully at her residence on December 29, 2003. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Grace (Sayre) Pierce and wife of the late Douglas P. Blair. Ruth was Anglican by faith and was member of St. Mary and St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Pierce (Lloyd) of Belleisle Bay, special niece Bonnie Purdy, special friend Jean Jones and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Walter, Robert and Ernest and her sister Opal. Resting at A.W. Cavanagh Funeral Home, 91 Leinster Street, 634-1712, with visiting on Friday January 2, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday January 3, from St. Mary and St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church at 11:00 AM followed by internment at Fernhill Cemetery.
