BRITTEN, ERIC EDWARD - After a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis, Eric went to his home in glory on Tuesday, December 30, 2003. Beloved husband of Diane and loving father to Joshua and Stephen, Eric was born in Saint John, a son of the late Donald and Jean Britten. Eric, well known in the community, was especially known for his skills in basketball and golf during his school years. Full of fun and laughter, Eric always enjoyed a good game of cards. His greatest loves were his Faith, Family and Friends. Besides his wife and sons, Eric will be sadly missed by his sister, Pamela (Michael) Halpin of Rothesay, and brothers, Brian (Cathy) of Ladner, BC and Donald (Caroline) of Gondola Point. Two nieces, Niki, and Angela; four nephews, Jason, Ben, Donovan and Andrew. Eric was truly an inspiration to all who knew him. Resting at CASTLE "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Old Hampton Road, Rothesay (849-1702) with visiting on Friday January 2, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and also on Saturday from 11am-1pm. Funeral Service will be held at Kennebecasis United Baptist Church, 383 Hampton Road, Quispamsis, on Saturday January 3, 2004 at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to KUBC Church Building Fund, Town of Quispamsis Disability Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
