CARR, STANLEY A. - Stanley A. Carr, age 85, of White Rapids Manor, Fredericton Jct., NB, (formerly of Geary, NB) husband of the late Clarissa S. Carr, passed away on January 7th, 2004. Born in Geary, NB he was the son of the late David and Laney Mae (Till) Carr. Stanley served in the Army for three and one-half years during the Second World War. He was employed as a diesel Mechanic with SMT (Eastern) Ltd for thirty plus years. Survived by his son, Wayne R. Carr (Marie) of Waterville, NB, chosen son Arthur A. Carr (Debbie) of Douglas, NB and his son, Mark A. Carr (Angie) of Geary, NB and their daughter, Bailey, one brother, Ashley Carr (Amanda), one brother-in-law, Ray Z. Carr (Myrtle), two sisters-in-law, Edith G. Allen (late James) all of Geary, NB and Eva Carr (late Rued) of Waterville, NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents, wife, Clarissa, one sister, Belle, two brothers, Preston and Alden. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, January 9th, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Geary United Pentecostal Church on Saturday, January 10th, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Mark Noel officiating with Rev. Robert Foster assisting.
