WHITEBONE, HELEN M. - The death of Mrs. Helen M. Whitebone, of the Loch Lomond Villa Nursing Home, wife of the late Ernest Whitebone, occurred on Tuesday January 13, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born April 27, 1915 in Amherst, NS, she was the daughter of the late John and Ella (Dunphy) Wilkins. She is survived by one son Peter Whitebone (Carolyn) of Saint John; two daughters Patsy DeSilva of Saint John and Helen Grant (George) of Moncton; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister Bertha Hatfield of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. Following cremation, visitation will be held from Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday January 16, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery.
