PEABODY, HELEN E. - The death of Helen E. Peabody, wife of the late Fred Peabody, long time resident of the Loch Lomond Villa, occurred on January 15, 2004, at her residence. Born in Woodstock, NB, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Eppie (DeWitt) Gray. She is survived by her sons James and his wife Dianne of Karrs, NB, Reg and his wife Roberta of Fort Hardy, BC, her daughters Nancy Cameron of Martinon, Betty and her husband Ron Lyons of Wickham, NB, Mabel and her husband Ron LaGasse of London, ON, Lorna and her husband Jack MacPherson of Charlottetown, PEI, her several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been predeceased by all her brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Andrea Murray. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424), with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Saturday from 10-12 Noon. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2004, at 2:00 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Following cremation interment will be held at Christ Church Anglican Cemetery, Lower Woodstock, NB, in the spring.
