DONALD SPRAGUE
SPRAGUE, DONALD - Donald Clarence Sprague, 72, of the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex and formerly of Petitcodiac passed away Friday January 16, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late John and Julia (Hicks) Sprague. Donald was a retired lumberman and farmer and was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church in Sussex. Survived by his wife of 53 years Winnifred Curtis of Sussex, children Gordon (Lynn) of Quispamsis, Ellen Morris (Greg) of New Maryland, Faye Steeves (Kevin) of Slave Lake A.B., Dale (Nancy) of Cornhill, 13 grandchildren, two great grandchildren. Surviving also are sisters Irma Hughes of Lutes Mountain, Doris Gillcash of Moncton, a brother Gerald (Barbara) of Moncton and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Blair and a daughter in law Joyce Sprague. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting hours Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday January 19 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Calvin Fenwick officiating assisted by Rev. Troy Campbell and Rev. Duane Collicott. Interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac at a later date.
